Summer On-Ice Development Program

Give your athlete the opportunity to train, compete, and develop in a high-performance environment this summer.

The Elite Division is designed for dedicated players who are committed to taking the next step in their development. Through a combination of skill training, technical skating instruction, and competitive game play, athletes will build confidence, improve performance, and prepare for the upcoming season alongside other motivated players.

With small group sizes and professional coaching, every session is designed to maximize development and accelerate growth.

Skills Skate

Instructor: Cole Leal, Execution Hockey

This high-tempo skills program focuses on developing the offensive tools and game habits that help players succeed in today’s fast-paced game. Athletes will be challenged through skill-based drills, shooting progressions, and game-like situations that improve confidence and execution.

Program Highlights

  • 6 on-ice sessions
  • Mondays, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • July 6, 13, 20, 27
  • August 10, 17
  • Limited to 12 skaters

  • Puck control and stickhandling
  • Shooting and scoring techniques

  • Full-ice pace and execution
  • Tactical awareness and decision-making
  • Confidence in game situations

Technical Skate

Instructors: Chad Tutton, Brady Austin, Brodie Tutton & Tracy Tutton

Elite players separate themselves through their skating. This specialized program focuses on developing the speed, efficiency, and power needed to compete at higher levels of hockey.

With only six skaters per group, athletes receive individualized instruction and detailed feedback to maximize improvement.

  • August 4, 11, 18
  • Limited to 6 skaters

ETS Cup

Training is important—but applying those skills in game situations is where growth truly happens.

The ETS Cup provides players with a structured, competitive environment where they can put their development into action against some of the top players in Durham Region. These high-tempo controlled scrimmages help athletes build confidence, improve decision-making, and stay game-ready throughout the offseason.

  • Controlled scrimmage format
