Off-ice training is a cornerstone of our program. Regular testing helps track progress and refine programs to address each athlete’s unique strengths and needs. From flexibility and mobility to injury prevention and rehabilitation, our focus on physical preparation ensures our athletes are ready to excel.
Exposure and Placement
OHA is a proven leader in helping players advance to Junior A, WHL, and NCAA programs. Our coaching staff’s professional backgrounds and extensive network of contacts provide unparalleled opportunities for exposure and placement. We educate families about the various pathways available, empowering them to make informed decisions that align with their goals.
Home Life
For athletes requiring accommodations, our billeting program provides a nurturing home environment. Overseen by Garth Astles, our Coordinator of Residential Life, the program matches students with local families through a rigorous screening and interview process. Billet families provide meals, transportation, and emotional support, creating a home away from home. The bonds formed often last a lifetime, enriching the experience for both students and families.
