Nicholas Kucera – Assistant Coach, U16 Prep
Nicholas Kucera brings strong leadership, organization, and team-first values to his role as Assistant Coach with Okanagan Hockey Ontario’s U16 Prep team. With over a decade of professional experience leading diverse crews, coordinating schedules, and driving team performance, Nicholas has developed a reputation for communication, accountability, and attention to detail—qualities that translate directly into his work behind the bench.
Alongside his professional career, Nicholas has dedicated himself to coaching hockey, serving as Head Coach of the Clarington Jr. Eagles since 2019. In this role, he has focused on player development, fostering a positive team culture, and helping young athletes build confidence both on and off the ice. His ability to guide players, resolve challenges, and emphasize fundamentals reflects his commitment to teaching the game the right way.
At OHO, Nicholas will support the U16 Prep team in skill development, game preparation, and mentorship, ensuring athletes are equipped to excel in a highly competitive environment. His combination of coaching experience and proven leadership background makes him a valuable addition to the program.
