About Tutton Technical Skating
With over 25 years of experience, the Tutton family has built a reputation as one of hockey’s most respected skating development teams. Over the past decade, their focus has been exclusively on hockey-specific skating, earning skate coaching and consulting roles with NHL organizations, including:

Technical skating sessions are led by Tracy, Brodie, and Chad Tutton, delivering detailed, hands-on instruction in a structured and supportive environment.
Program Focus

Athletes will work on:
- Proper body positioning and skating mechanics
- Advanced edge control and balance
- Explosive take-off and acceleration
- Improving the first three steps
- Tight turns, body awareness, and coordination
This technical foundation allows players to skate faster, move more efficiently, and maintain speed through game situations.
Program Structure
- One on-ice session per week
- Six (6) total ice sessions per group
- Small group sizes for individualized feedback
